Childcare Supply Nursery Nurse GATESHEAD #TiniesFlex Job Description Supply Nursery Nurse GATESHEADWe're searching for Supply Nursery Nurses to support the needs of Early Years clients in the Gateshead area. Shifts are generally full days, but these are flexible Monday to Friday based on your availability and the needs of the setting. Other opportunities to work within our supply service can be available too. Applicants must have:
Childcare Qualification (ie. a full and relevant level 2/level 3 childcare, Playwork with early years element, EYP, EYE, EYPS, EYTS, or QTS, or working towards this)2y+ expereince caring for children age 0-5y

++ Full or Part Time Qualified Nursery Assistant - £14.50 per hour ++
Pay is based on qualifications full and relevant to the EYFS qualified ratios in the region of £13.69 - £14.50per hour with holiday, dependant on age and qualification. Driving not essential but you should be happy and able to commute in the local area.

DUTIES
to provide excellent standards of care to babies and children under 5 yearsto supervise and interact with the children, prioritising their safety and wellbeing above all other tasksto champion the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, and according to Ofsted requirementsto provide excellent levels of communication to staff and colleaguesto be confident speaking to parents and carers about their children's day within the settingto provide for personal routines and meal times, contributing to clean and hygienic standardsto bring ideas and enthusiasm to enhance the children's play and learning opportunities - to adhere to the settings policies and procedures to maintain the wellbeing of all children- to actively seek opportunities to develop professionallyto lead by example, creating a welcoming an inclusive environment
