Job Summary
Our Dresden site understands the importance of its Supply Chain division and sees it as a strategic partner. Our Planning department is an integral part of Supply Chain and Operations, which is our strength. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will closely collaborate with our various business units to understand the operational reality and optimize the planning and scheduling of production related to supply chain.
Position Responsibilities
Work directly with departments developing consensus forecasts and translating to a detailed 7–12-week operational forecast. Focusing on volume drivers to improve forecast accuracy and highlight risk to support action plans to ensure delivery.Lead monthly S&OP forecast consensus process by working with partners in sales, brand, supply chain to obtain forecast inputs.Work with production planning and deployment to translate the consensus forecasts into an operational forecast for the facility.Engagement in forecasting of new item launches from ideation to production.Aid in the communication flow of changes to forecast and communicate information to all partners.Report on forecast accuracy and lead the refinement and improvement of forecasting process, tools, and systems to improve results.Support annual planning process for designated brands.Present findings that drive understanding, alignment, and informed decision-makingAccountable for collaboration with Customers and Suppliers to prioritize, deliver products & services that meet or exceed the business needs with attention to simplicity of design and ease of use/interaction.Develop detailed understanding of manufacturing constraints and capabilities of the manufacturing locations being planned.Communicate with production, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning and Customer Service. Ensuring all internal and external partners are informed of potential problems or issues impacting the business.Utilize systems to proactively identify and communicate key drivers and proposed solutions to service and inventory issues.Collaborate with DP and deployment to translate S&OP forecasts to SKU-DC level supply plans.Utilize SAP Planning tools and support processes to drive network strategy.Part of the Lean Supply Chain continuous improvement team.Implement and monitor various performance indicators.Participate in the integration of new system enhancements related to supply chain.Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.2 + years experience in a planning position.A basic understanding of supply chain processes and the downstream effects demand planningExperience with Microsoft applications - Excel (Advanced formulas and pivot tables)Proficient in the following tools: Intermediate Excel, Microsoft Office, SAP/Blue Yonder (an asset);Strong Analytical and communication skills. Ability to define problems, collect and analyze date to draw valid conclusions.Able to work in a high-performance, multitasking, and fast-paced environment.Autonomous with good judgment and a team spirit.A communication champion.Compensation:
Pay Range:$61,000-$90,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
