Position Summary:

The role’s purpose is to be accountable for the overall supply plan quality within the Finished Goods Operations (FGO) supply chain, for our Instruments businesses. FGO includes external Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) / Contract Manufacturing (CM) product suppliers. The role is also responsible for measuring the performance of the execution of the supply plan in meeting the demand requirements. The role will interface with commercial teams, procurement and sourcing partners, finance partners, and other related planning teams and will be the primary communicator for both short and long-term impacts on the FGO supply chain.

Key Areas of Responsibility:               

Ensuring that the supply plan has been financially evaluated in conjunction with Finance and that the implications are understood by the leadership team within Procurement and the franchise regarding operational targets and budgetsTo deploy and monitor the performance of the core supply processes within the FGO such capacity planning, demand and supply execution and FG safety stocks.To input into the overall Franchise Executive Supply review by communicating the capability to meet the latest demand signal and the implications if any of doing so.To own and drive continuous improvement on the core processes within supply planning based on defined standards by business model for the franchise and process excellence.To ensure that the commercial and operations teams are being provided with the right insights around capital investment and opportunities for cost and cash improvement.To ensure that procurement call offs are in line with what was requested in the Supply plan and any deviation is measured and monitored to drive a balanced scorecard approach on KPIsTo be the knowledge centre in supporting pro-active communication of supply risks and mitigation of backorder issuesEnsure that KPIs are tracked, communicated and corrective actions taken when deviating and reported back to leadership in time.Support cross-franchise best practice programs by participating, sharing and adapting best practice learnings back into the specific franchise as part of simplifying how we operate within Global Quality and Operations (GQO) and StrykerKPIs for the role – Supply Plan Attainment, Safety Stock Heath, Capacity Utilization, Back order and Lead time levels

Professional Requirements Required:

Degree level in Business/Finance/Supply Chain management.Fluent English is required. Polish, German and/or another European language is a plus.

Background Experience Required:

Minimum of 2 years in either a production, supply or demand planning role.IT Planning system knowledge hands on within SAP platforms. 

Travel Percentage: 10%
