JOB DESCRIPTION
Under limited supervision, the Supply Planner II directs, measures, analyzes and impacts supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors. Performances root cause analyses and makes recommendations to improve cost, productivity, quality, and service levels. Analyzes material plans and models supply based scenarios. Gathers data, conduct analyses, prepares reports, and presents data to management. Works closely with functions across the supply chain including Engineering, Sourcing, Sales and Operations Planning, Production, Distribution, and Transportation. In addition to developing inventory supply plans, the planner is responsible for the key metrics of the network and facing fill rates, inventory turns, and inventory working capital, along with identifying supply planning systems and process improvements.
Supports product availability of Repair Parts across the Commercial business unit. Models supply based scenarios and address gaps to drive product availability. Monitors actual production to planned production, stockouts, fill rates, inventory balances, and plan response to out-of-tolerance conditions.Supports the fulfillment of factory direct ship orders. Communicates any service issues related to stock availability and coordinate resolution with appropriate groups. Collects data and provides analytics regarding spend, volume, and purchasing cycles to stakeholders in the business. Develops and maintains relationships with vendors for aftermarket products. Determines the best metrics to use to identify and address supply chain opportunities, perform root cause analysis, and make recommendations to achieve established targets. Works closely with functions across the supply chain including Engineering, Sourcing, Supply Chain Planning, Production, Logistics, Distribution, Customer Service and Finance to meet business goals. Researches and approves invoice discrepancies.WHAT WE OFFER

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires at least 5 years related experience.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.Expert in logistics and production planning concepts (e.g., just-in-time, materials requirement planning)Broad range of computer skills—database, spreadsheet, statistics applications, and logistics software packages; understand contracts and tariffs.Requires detailed knowledge of supply chain best practices and barriers to implementation.Demonstrates strong financial acumen and understanding of the value chain.Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.Able to investigate problems, finds root causes, and develops solutions.COMPENSATION
This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $60,000 – $75,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. The full salary range for employees in this role and market is between $60,000– $75,000 annually, with variations based on similar factors as well as tenure and performance.
Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual broad base bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
