This role supports the development of a comprehensive supply plan for designated manufacturing sites and third-party suppliers within a specific franchise. The position collaborates closely with production scheduling, procurement, and customer service to ensure an integrated and responsive supply planning process. The primary objective is to align supply capabilities with business demand, ensuring timely production and procurement of finished goods and raw materials.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing a Master Resource Plan based on current demand forecasts, ensuring adequate production and procurement of finished goods and raw materials over a 24-month horizon.Support the creation of capacity plans to identify potential supply bottlenecks or underutilization, and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity and cost efficiency.Initially focus on a limited product portfolio, with close supervision and coaching during the onboarding and development phase.Collaborate with the Supply Planning Manager to determine appropriate inventory levels (e.g., safety stock) by analyzing demand variability and supply chain lead times.Monitor execution of the supply plan in coordination with production scheduling and procurement, addressing deviations, mitigating backorders, and proactively communicating supply risks.Ensure accurate planning and communication of product phase-ins and phase-outs within internal and third-party manufacturing environments.Provide regular updates to the business on product availability and supply planning status.Support the Supply Planning Manager in confirming supply capabilities against demand through daily/weekly execution processes and monthly executive reviews.Maintain accurate master data in supply planning systems to focus efforts on real supply challenges.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including:Supply Plan AttainmentSafety Stock HealthCapacity UtilizationBack OrdersLead TimeProduct Availability / Service LevelConduct root cause analysis of performance issues and recommend corrective actions to the Supply Planning Manager.
Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.Experience in supply planning or a related analytical role.Proficiency in forecasting, financial analysis, and supply chain principles.Familiarity with ERP systems and supply planning tools.Experience LevelIntermediate
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.16 - $61.93/hr.
