Supply Planning Specialist
This position exists to ensure the effective management of supply and production planning, enabling seamless integration of business processes across key stakeholders. The role is critical in synchronizing supply in a dynamic and rapidly evolving business environment. The Supply Planning Specialist leads the supply planning process in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance, with the goal of optimizing finished goods inventory levels, minimizing operational losses, and ensuring timely and accurate supply from the factory to the warehouses.
Position Description:
Lead cross-functional activities to refine production models in alignment with evolving sales and marketing assumptions. This involves analyzing local market trends, potential inventory write-offs, and production variability to ensure that key changes are accurately reflected in planning models. Develop dynamic capacity and supply planning models that accommodate various demand scenarios, product-specific needs, and manufacturing capabilities. These models support strategic decision-making for both existing products and new product introductions, as well as managing phase-outs. Simulation tools and production strategies are implemented to optimize resource utilization and ensure supply continuity. Facilitate alignment meetings with manufacturing counterparts to ensure operational readiness for market initiatives and projects. Provide management with SKU-level supply requirement analysis, factoring in capacity constraints and market dynamics to guide informed decisions. Monitor and control stock levels to meet company targets while minimizing obsolescence and write-offs. Timely and accurate communication of supply plans to stakeholders ensures transparency and alignment across functions. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply planning processes and systems which. Drive efficiency, reduce risk, and strengthen the overall supply chain performance
Position Requirement:
Possess a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 3 years' experience in supply planning / inventory management in a sales and distribution environment of a FMCG industry Able to speak and write English well Must be computer literate and must have an advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and IBP
