Supply Room Attendant 2nd Shift

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for attending the Maintenance Supply Room. Provide electrical and mechanical and Die spare parts to prevent extended machine down time in compliance with the Quality and Environmental Policy.
 

Major Responsibilities:
 Daily cycle counts, picks and receipt of goods.
 Maintain 5 S Standards.
 Maintain appropriate record keeping system.
 Maintain good communication with team members
 Assist with maintaining minimum and maximum inventory levels.
 Must understand and follow all departmental instructions.
 Assist in special projects as needed but, not limited to the above.
 

Minor Responsibilities:
 Requires effective communication and involvement with all internal associates/departments and related outside resources.
 Requires teamwork and participation of company activities such as IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 and Employee Involvement.
 Requires overtime and shift work as required.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
 Must be able to read and demonstrate an understanding of the operator instructions.
 Must be able to write as demonstrated through the completion of the employment application.
 

Key Competencies:
 Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals).
 Ability to use measuring equipment and read blueprints.
 Requires good typing skills for data entry.
 Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point.
 Must be detail oriented and be able to effectively communicate problems/processes on all levels.
 

Physical Requirements:
 Requires sitting with some standing and moving up to 8-12 hours per day.
 Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
 Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and kneel.
 Must be able to push/pull force of ≤30 kgf (66lbf)
 Must be able to reach over head.
Additional Roles and Responsibilities:
 Understand your job responsibilities to perform, monitor and control the process as it affects Quality and Environmental Impacts.
 Follow all procedures and work instructions pertaining to your assignment and make recommendations to improve the process as well as enhancements to the 

Environmental Management System.
 Notify Management immediately when problems or non-conformances are detected.
 Appropriately record problem or non-conformance to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken.
 Assist in the problem solving process, corrective action and prevention activities.
 Contain or stop the process as necessary to prevent non-conforming material from contaminating good material or negatively impacting the Environment.
