Abacus Technology is seeking a Supply Specialist to support logistical activities for the Army at the Aberdeen Proving Ground.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities Serve as logistical liaison for supply activities.Review/validate and submit request for equipment and supplies to ensure compliance with applicable authorization documentation.Assist with locating, requisitioning and obtaining items to support unforeseen, last minute mission requirements.Review and coordinate lateral transfers for agency property book items.Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the material receipt, warehousing, storage, turn-in and issue of supplies, equipment and material required to support the mission.Receive and process a wide variety of supply forms and other documentation pertaining to receipt, issue, transfer, and shipment of accountable property.Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and regulations.Control shipping of outgoing equipment and supplies.Ensure the proper internal controls are in place to prevent potential materiel weaknesses from occurring.Assist with acquisitions and procurement of items to assist in accomplishing mission. Qualifications

1+ years of experience in a logistics, supply, or inventory management role.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired.  Experience planning, coordinating, or evaluating logistical actions to support program plans; drafting and facilitating supply requests for equipment and supplies in accordance with policy, procedures, and regulations; managing and ensuring accountability of both stored and individually assigned equipment.  Able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, customer service skills, oral and written communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities.  Must be willing to travel occasionally.  May be required to work overtime or outside of normal duty hours (including emergency work, shift work).  May be designated as mission essential meaning on-site work may be required during severe weather or installation closings.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.  Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

 

The projected compensation range for this position is $82,764-$107,590. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
