Supply Specialist

Job Description:

Provides support for the management of all phases of the procurement program or plan.  Coordinates, plans and buys items, services, components and equipment at the lowest cost and highest quality to support Cambria.  Optimize on-hand inventory levels. Keeps system data and metrics up to date.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Keep work area clean and orderlyAssist with the procurement of equipment, materials, services and suppliesProcesses purchase requisitions and purchase orders while validating appropriate approvals are securedWork with suppliers to obtain quotes and bidsCoordinates the lifecycle of items including returnsManages the matching process for your PR’s & PO’sMonitor and track key performance indicatorsCoordinates, creates and distributes department communicationsAssists with standardization and entry of system dataResults focused problem solverAdditional duties as assigned by managementCoordinate with internal business partners in documenting and resolving supplier and/or supply issuesMake purchasing decisions in accordance with company procedures and regulationsBuild strong relationships with internal and external business partners, fostering collaboration and teamworkHelp document processes/training tools, and implement efficiencies

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentationStrong computer skills using Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel)1 years of purchasing experienceStrong interpersonal skills to develop strong trusting relationships with internal and external partnersPreferred experience in Oracle, procurement, Softco, Google Suite or Maximo

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalentCritical thinking and troubleshooting skillsBasic math and analytical skillsStrong computer skills using Oracle, Tableau, and complex Excel spreadsheetsHigh initiative, self-directed and motivatedStrong business and financial acumenHigh attention to detailsStrong organization skillsAble to effectively manage multiple competing prioritiesUnderstanding of full cycle supply chain activitiesProficiency in Google, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience: Buying experience

Physical Requirements:

Sit/stand for short periods of time during a shift for up to eight hours, with intermittent breaksWork behind a computer for long periods of time during shift for up to nine hoursWalk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
