About the Position: This position is under the ILSC, Supply Chain Integration Directorate Operations Division. Responsibilities Identify and defines system requirements to support business processes. Develop and tests system solutions to fill business needs in collaboration with functional use Implement and develop recommendations, procedures, and guidelines to enable system support to supply planning. Implement new methods/techniques for technical requirements and recommend changes in basic policy issuance's covering established logistics techniques. Assist supply chain functions in planning and executing scenarios to inform analyses for leadership and management officials responsible for decision-making. Analyze findings and presents recommendations to leadership through reports and briefings. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes preparing routine analytical reports of trends or problems as indicated by supply data; investigating deviations with supply systems to determine and take corrective action; and utilizing various logistics programs such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to provide accurate supply information. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Management Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest. This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position. Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Career Field Position. This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Level 1 (Foundational) Acquisition Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty. Position is designated non-critical sensitive as defined in DoD 5200.2 This requires that a personnel security investigation be adjudicated on a pre-appointment basis which may take up to 90 days or longer to process. The selectee may be allowed to start work prior to adjudication if management approved. Obtaining and maintaining a secret security clearance is a condition of employment. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
