SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Supply Division of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY. Responsibilities You will develop methods and processes for extracting needed data from automated systems. You will format graphs, tabular numbers, color, etc. to ensure ease of understanding and present information to various levels of management. You will track performance vs. established goals, identify problems and corrective action. You will perform special projects as required. You will provide system troubleshooting on and assist users with automated supply systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS 05-10) or pay band (NO-02 ) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: (1) Developing and presenting statistical and narrative data relating to quality control and performance improvement of supply programs/operations; (2) Utilizing knowledge of automated supply systems to provide system training to users, answer questions or assist off-site users; (3) Troubleshooting and fixing problems related to automated supply systems; (4) Utilizing knowledge of a broad range of supply functions, programs, policies and procedures encompassing purchasing, material receiving, store operations, government purchase card, receipt control, etc.; and, (5) Communicating with senior managers to promote understanding of developed presentation materials.
