SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the SYSTEMS AND PROCEDURES BRANCH (CODE 513), CONTROL DIVISION (CODE 510), IN THE SUPPLY DEPARTMENT (CODE 500), TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY (TRIREFFAC) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY. Responsibilities You will serve as the Supply Systems Analyst performing analytical project assignments in the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the overall Supply Management System (SMS). You will provide technical direction for the SMS Automated Data Processing (ADP) projects required to automate supply operations. You will review system and software changes/upgrades provided by the Central Design Agency. You will research program problems and enhancements and then document and submit Program Trouble Reports and/or Program Change Requests to local ADP activities and/or submit heat tickets to Navy ERP. You will perform system/program analysis with Web accessible and client server microcomputer hardware online system tools and data processing guides, research and identify problem causes and resolution, and take actions to correct. You will schedule, conduct and/or attend ADP/supply-related meetings with various levels of personnel, and provide technical advice in other meetings regarding supply policies, procedures, and programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing and developing plans, methods, and procedures required to maintain an effective supply management system in support of TRIREFFAC supply support operations, methods, Experience providing advice and guidance to internal and external organizations regarding TRIREFFAC supply support operations, methods, and procedures. Experience serving as the project manager from various supply and ADP projects. Experience performing continual studies of existing, new and changing supply requirements to support the various trident support activities and the trident fleet. Experience researching problems and enhancements and then documents and submits program trouble reports and/or program change requests to local ADP activities and or submits heat tickets to Navy ERP. For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience identifying and helping develop plans, methods, and procedures required to maintain and effective supply management system in support of supply support operations. Experience assisting and performing continual studies of existing, new, and changing supply requirements to support the various trident support activities and trident fleet. Experience assisting with schedules, conducting and/or attending ADP/SUPPLY related meeting with various levels or personnel. Experience assisting with identifying potential or actual problem areas of deficiencies, trends, significant program accomplishments and recommending courses of action to the supervisor. Experience assisting with operating procedures, output report frequency and distribution, documents program implementation and communicates requirements to the applicable ADP department. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. GS-09: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
