Responsibilities You will perform technical research and/or item examination to identify repair parts or subassemblies required for the repair of aircraft engine modules, using Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs) and on-line technical databases. You will review and research the Engine Discrepancy Listing to determine if parts are available so that modules can be repaired and engines be made ready for issue (RFI). You will make recommendations for cannibalization of parts, reorder of materials, assuring NALCOMIS records are updated and that financial charges are correctly posted. You will maintain liaison with Supply Response Section (SRS) on maintenance material matters to ensure delivery of material required for module repairs to facilitate maintenance schedules. You will coordinate physical inventories of modules and engines within FRC, reconciling and initiating correction of module logbooks. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Tracking requisitions, inventory, and the disposition of Aviation Repairable assets to update supply information into an automated supply tracking system. The ideal candidate will have great communication and computer skills.
