SUMMARY

Conducts regular inventory counts and monitors inventory and stock levels. Tracks inventory turnover and identifies slow-moving or obsolete items.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Processes documents requesting supplies, issues receipts, and catalogs items for storage. Inspects and stores supplies and coordinates arrangements for transportation in accordance with the established budget. Prepares and disseminates equipment and tools for installation and/or maintenance of machinery and equipment. Performs assigned duties for decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of equipment. Ensures necessary equipment and materials are available for installation and operations. Ensures accountability for federally owned equipment and property throughout its lifecycle. Prepares requestions to restock items and advises personnel on the proper procedures for maintaining accountability of property. Prepares reports on inventory and destroyed or damaged property. Creates and updates procedures for annual inventories and maintains property system inventory records. Maintains regular and punctual attendance. Performs other duties as assigned.
