Summary THIS IS AN INDIANA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is part of the IN JFHQ IN J1, Indiana National Guard under Position Description Number D0849000. If you would like the complete list of duties, please contact the POC of this announcement. Responsibilities This position is located in the Army or Air National Guard. Performs routine and nonroutine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops. Responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which requires technical intervention to assure effective supply support and economy. Responsible for limited aspects of storage management. Be familiar with Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) and be willing to perform other duties as assigned by H2F Program Management Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications MILITARY GRADES: E3 THROUGH E6 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: 92Y The policy to have a compatible MOS/AFSC has been suspended. When reinstated, you will have one year to meet the qualifications of this position or meet the requirements in the guidance set by NGB. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade this includes demonstrated knowledge of standardized supply regulations, policies, procedures, or other instructions relating to the specific functions assigned. Experience that demonstrates knowledge of one or more automated supply databases to enter and retrieve recurring reports. Experience using working knowledge of the structure of a supply organization and the organizations serviced. Moreover must have knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment. Experience conducting searches for required information; reconstruct records for supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts. Experience performing various aspects of supply specialist work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems related to segments in one or more major areas of supply management. Experience which required person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. Consistent with the grade level determining duties in the position description, higher grade level specialized experience may include experience controlling supply stocks and accounting for equipment, cataloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures. Completing complex supply transactions; and/or providing supply operations support. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience analyzing, developing, evaluating to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions. Education You may combine education with specialized experience to meet the length of experience requirement for GS-07. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university in the amounts shown in the table meets the requirements for positions at GS-7 To qualify on education alone, must have 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement. To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
