Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the Aviation Supply Department of HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC. Responsibilities You will exercise complete carcass Tracking Management of Aviation Depot Level Repairable (AVDLR). You will be responsible for the accurate maintenance of the Carcass Tracking File (CTF) and the research data to reconcile exceptions that preclude accurate maintenance of the CTF. You will review method changes, policies and procedures as they are incorporated and provide status reports and reconciliations in terms of customer requirements. You will resolve problems and provide expert advice when dealing with repairable components and carcass tracking matters. You will attend conferences with personnel from the Supply and Comptroller Departments and higher echelon commands to discuss carcass tracking processes and status of funding issues. You will updated and maintain ERP and Naval Aviation Logistics Command Information System (NALCOMIS) files, monitor output and reconcile nalcomis discrepancies. You will ensure information on ERP, e-RMS UADPS and Weapons System Support Philadelphia (WSSP) and Weapons Systems Support Mechanicsburg (WSSM) files are congruent. You will perform causative research to reconcile records that are not in agreement. You will coordinate and prepare management statistical reports to provide information to Type Commands (TYCOMS) and WSSP regarding the process of CTF reconciliations and accountability of assets. You will plan and organize workload and are responsible for developing and maintaining methods and procedures to effectively implement program changes under NITA and ERP. You will conduct studies such as interface problems with computer programs, equipment feasibility and utilization of labor saving devices. You will prepare management and budgetary reports and perform internal studies. You will maintain contact with customers to ensure all efforts have been made to locate repairable data base computer programs retrograde carcasses to preclude unnecessary expenditure of Aircraft Maintenance (AOM) funds. You will provide direction, planning, technical, and administrative functions for the operation relating to carcass tracking. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning and directing tracking operations to maintain accurate records, reconcile discrepancies, advise on process improvements and ensure efficient inventory management for the improvement or optimization of a logistics program.
