Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will serve as the point of contact for material shortages identified by the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) work centers. You will process transactions utilizing Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) database. You will review various local, Navy, Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and NALCOMIS system reports to analyze the information on trends and patterns of requirements for material. You will advise customers with regard to supply procedures and policies and explain the interface between the Aviation Supply Department, FRCSW and customers. You will process and review various types of NALCOMIS and N-ERP transactions in support of the expeditious acquisition of urgently required aircraft parts and components. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with parts supply services for an aviation supply department. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
