SUPPLY TECHNICIAN
Summary You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Material Readiness Department, Warehouse Operations - Keyport in ORG 6331 or 6332 of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA. Responsibilities You will analyze reports and transactions produced by the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) automated systems. You will identify trends, problems and other situations that impact effective material support and/or proper funds management. You will assist supply specialists in assuring effective material support for weapons systems and operational equipment that is in direct support of production. You will perform Care of Supplies in Store (COSIS) for stock material. You will assure records are maintained to facilitate adequate segregation of program materials. You will work with supply specialists to prepare inventory procedures. You will conduct physical inventories to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. You will coordinate stockage and distribution of material with users and supply personnel to assure that sufficient material of correct kind is available to meet predicted need. You will operate vehicles and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to transport, load, or move material. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing supply support services associated with warehousing and/or shop stores and inventory of supply materials to include receiving, inspecting, storing, or inventory control using an automated inventory system such as operating materials and supplies Inventory Onsite Support. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include managing and fulfilling organizational warehousing, customer service, and inventory needs and requirements; demonstrated innovative and proactive problem-solving skills, restructuring priorities based on organization and customer needs; delivering high-quality performance to internal and external customers; demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement; maintaining a track record of leveraging cooperation and collaboration to increase department efficiency and achieve the vision and mission of the organization; adapting to new information, changing conditions, and unexpected obstacles; proving to be a high-value leader and team member with the full trust and confidence of superiors.
