Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will conduct daily supply transactions for receipt and issue of accountable property within the designated APSR following all Battalion standard operating procedures You will work with Inventory Management Specialists, Supply Technicians, Material Handlers, Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) SMEs, and/or supervisors to validate property records and report any discrepancies. You will perform related supply transactions directed to complete the weapon system configuration. You will conduct research in different Federal Logistics Systems and Technical Documentation to validate material identity and proper accounting National Stock Numbers for new material, specialized, unique items. You will draft letters, reports, tabulated material, memoranda, and other related documentation. You will provide weekly written individual performance report of day-to-day activities and accomplishments to the supervisor. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to understand interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to supply/warehousing and handling material; Skill in analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, assess, and resolve issues/problems of a procedural or factual nature; Ability to conduct research within Global Combat Supply Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) or other computer database; Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance, receive a favorable background investigation, and National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) and Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E) screening. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Applicants may also qualify based on education OR a combination of education and experience, in lieu of the one year specialized experience listed above, through ONE of the following: Successful completion of 4 years above high school OR Possess a combination of specialized experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal 100 percent. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience. Additional Information Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
