Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND of CENTER FOR SUBMARINE. Responsibilities You will review and audit staff submitted requirements and supporting documents for accuracy, ensuring all documentation is present and verifying that all signatures have been obtained prior to processing Open Purchase Requests You will monitor stock levels, set reorder points (MILSTRIP), and manage inventory across multiple locations to prevent overstocking or shortages. You will ensure accuracy and consistency of data across the ERP system, including supplier details, product information, and inventory levels. You will track the movement of goods throughout the supply chain, providing real-time updates on order status and potential disruptions. You will ensure adherence to Navy regulations and compliance standards related to supply chain operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing automated systems (e.g., management information system, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) to extract information. 2) Preparing reports and maintaining documents in electronic files for easy retrieval. 3) Presenting and articulating supply related projects, programs, initiatives, etc. in meetings. 4) Assisting with clerical and administrative function to support the needs of the organization. 5) Assigning and reviewing responsibilities, providing both formal and informal training, providing technical advice, and assistance, as applicable.
