a vital part of the hospital the storeroom remains open on a hour basis The department works together to ensure the needs of our patients visitors and staff are met in a timely courteous manner This includes working closely with clinical teams to provided medical supplies as needed in a timely manner Responsibilities include but are not limited to the followingmiddot Support Clinical Department inventory availability via the use of Clinical Inventory Management Systemsmiddot Physical receipt and inspection of incoming orders Validates order type quantity and condition against ERP purchase order as neededmiddot Electronic receipt of purchase orders in ERP Puts away product according to department procedures or deliver to end user as required middot Maintains system identified inventory levels of supplies for delivery by rotating and reviewing expiration dates Handles product so that department cycle count metrics are achieved middot Delivers supplies as needed in response to customers requestsmiddot Manages clinical departments inventory with the use of modern technologies including but not limited to automated supply cabinets and bar code scanners middot Prepares packs and ships packages using the facilities dedicated shipping partners middot Supports the Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory and achieve department KPIs as requiredmiddot Audits order
