Support AideReq #:0000186791 Category:Housekeeping Status:Full-Time Shift:Night Facility:RWJ Somerset Department:Environmental Services Location: RWJUH Somerset, 110 Rehill Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876 Overview: Support Aides are responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the manager in charge. They must complete tasks like vacuuming, emptying trashcans, dusting, high dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning, sweeping and mopping patient rooms, bathrooms, nurse stations, hallways, stairs, elevators, floor care projects and room setups as needed. Qualifications: Required: Work every other Saturday and Sunday and every other holiday Preferred: One to two years as housekeeper or service worker Command of English Physical Functions: Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 lbs Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requires special clothing or safety equipment.
