Support Engineer II
**Support Engineer II** **Location** : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. CareBridge is a provider of technology and services that assist payers and states in caring for patients receiving long-term support services. CareBridge’s services include electronic visit verification (EVV), data aggregation, 24/7-member support, and benefit management. CareBridge is led by a team of healthcare service and technology veterans and is headquartered in East Nashville. As a **Support Engineer II** you will be an integral part of the Engineering and Product teams, helping provide support and troubleshooting of our internally developed applications. We are looking for an individual that loves to troubleshoot issues and dive into code but also enjoys interacting with end users (internal employees). Additionally, you will be part of the product release cycle assisting the team with feature development and testing. Carebridge runs on on a modern IoC (infrastructure as code) technology stack in AWS with a code base consisting of: ReactJS, MaterialUI, Elixir, Phoenix, Postgres and many others. **How you will make an impact:** + Be the face of Engineering by providing front-line support to users of internally built applications. + Work closely with end-users, product owners, and other developers on the engineering team to resolve end-user issues. + Coordinate troubleshooting and document known issues. + Develop fixes directly or work with other members of the Engineering team to help resolve issues. + Prioritize issues by P1 or less status. + Understand testing best practices and assist in testing of new features. + Troubleshoot data issues by creating ad-hoc queries. + Review PR's and provide Quality Assurance. + Develop new features. + Write correct and clean code with limited guidance while following best practices. + Partner with internal and/or external stakeholders to better understand business requirements. + Analyze and classify semi-complex change requests and identify and document possible system enhancements. + Participate in developing application scope and objectives and preparing functional and/or technical specifications. + Code and maintain semi-complex components of information systems. + Develop and perform system testing and fix defects identified during testing. + Participate in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project efforts. + Develop a general understanding of how the work fits in to the larger project and identify problems or issues in requirements. + Provides on call support and monitors the system for semi-complex issues as needed. **Minimum Requirements:** Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 1 year experience on one platform; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. **Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:** + Experience with ReactJS, MaterialUI, Elixir, Phoenix, Postgres preferred. + Code Camp/School certification preferred. + Read and develop front/back-end code strongly preferred. + Understanding of git version control strongly preferred. + Experience with telehealth solutions including mobile applications and devices preferred.
