Job Description A large global retailer is seeking a Support Engineer with extensive experience in DevOps, SRE, or Production Support roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting microservice and frontend-based architectures, cloud technologies, and containerization. This role involves ensuring system reliability, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Provide support for microservice and frontend-based architectures Utilize knowledge in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Ruby Apply practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) Leverage expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) Work with event-driven architectures using Kafka Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and address the underlying causes of incidents Implement and maintain monitoring solutions (preferably Splunk and Grafana) to ensure system reliability and performance Collaborate with development teams to integrate deployment pipelines Work with non-relational databases, such as Cosmos DB Implement best practices for continuous improvement and operational excellence Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and incident reports Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
