The Support Optimization Data Engineering team is looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate for the role of a Data Engineer. This role will involve working with various teams to analyze data and processes to provide opportunities and insights that improve the operations of our global contact center teams.DescriptionDescriptionData Engineers acquire and handle AppleCare data, collaborating with Product Owners and Project Managers to develop data-driven strategies from contact center data. They partner with organizations to develop data requirements for technologies and applications, improving data development using appropriate tools and techniques. Ensuring timely and effective creation of high-quality data, they effectively communicate data requirements to senior leadership, product owners, and business customers. Adhering to industry standards, they ensure the accuracy and quality of AppleCare data provided to tools, systems, and analysts. Conducting validation testing, they validate the data development process. Minimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering or an Information Technology related field5+ years of data engineering and data analytics experience5+ years of experience in data development, data testing and data validations utilizing database platforms such as Snowflake, Hadoop, and Oracle.Showed strength in SQL and in scripting languages such as PythonExperience in data visualization and reporting tools, particularly TableauOutstanding data-driven understanding with the ability to draw insights, uncover patterns, and solve complex business problems through data analysisExperience in ensuring data quality and data integrity across various projectsStrong communication skills with meticulous attention to detail for translating data insights into business impactProject Management experience including the development and refinement of data driven KPIs and their relationship to business metricsKey QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsMasters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering or an Information Technology related fieldDeep understanding of AppleCare SupportProject Management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)Solid experience in data engineering tools and concepts, data pipeline development, data model design, and aggregation strategies, in support of adaptable and highly interactive data productsData modeling experience in analytics or MLEducation & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsMore
