We currently have an opportunity for a Support Services Supervisor. Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in facilitating the effective operations of support services (cleaning, wardspersons, materials, waste and linen) for Bathurst, Bloomfield & Orange Hospitals. Reporting to Support Services Coordinator, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

This is a Part-Time opportunity, working 38 hours per fortnight.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

Manage support services at the Orange, Bathurst, and Bloomfield Hospitals. Deliver service in accordance with relevant Key Performance Indicators. Ensure help desk calls are responded to and completed in the timeframe allocated. Assist in measuring costs, efficiencies, and delivery of services and support service improvement initiatives. Actively seeking ways to improve work efficiency and identify areas where opportunities for business improvements can be realised.

What You’ll Bring

Extensive customer service skills, with effective supervision of people and general management of staff. Highly effective organisational skills including planning, reporting and prioritising. Extensive experience in developing strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. Proven commitment to the principles of service quality improvement, continuous improvement and organisational development.
