Support Technician I - Westchester, NY

Westchester Medical Center is the regional base of tertiary and quaternary care and is the primary referral facility for other hospitals, serving as a lifeline for millions of people in the Hudson Valley. As a Support Technician II at Westchester Medical Center, you will provide day-to-day technical support for end user hardware and software needs and project-based support onsite. You will be responsible for providing audio visual support for teleconferencing, routine, technical support and maintenance for endpoints, printers, and network systems including hardware, applications, operating systems and connectivity. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues and document resolution and support as needed in addition to installing, configuring, and updating end-user desktop and laptop software with support as needed. You will also be responsible for prioritizing and escalating issues when appropriate, using knowledge transfer forums to identify and resolve problems as well as contribute to all phases of desktop support, including coordination, on-call rotation, monitoring, tracking, and resolution, related to client installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues.
