Sense now has fantastic opportunities for Support Workers in Ottery St Mary, Devon.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week. 

Sense Otterhayes is a cluster of supported living services (7 properties) and one residential care home (for 5 people). The services have access to a poly tunnel for people to grow their own fruit and vegetables. There is an art room and a small studio. This is really fantastic time to join Sense Otterhayes – as we move forward with an ambitious plan to bring about major changes.

Due to the location of our service it is desirable that you hold a full UK drivers license, and have access to a vehicle, we have free staff parking on site.

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:Positive, with a can-do attitude.Caring and empathetic.Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.Willing to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent (or already have one).This role in Ottery St Mary might include supporting people with:Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.Personal care and hygiene.Finances.Medication and wellbeing.Going into the community for shopping or other trips.Their social life and nightlife.About Sense
