Supported Employment and Education Specialist
      EARLY PSYCHOSIS (EP), SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT & EDUCATION SPECIALIST   $44k-55k - Commensurate with education and experience Full time and Part time positions available    Responsible for Managing a caseload of individuals ages 15+ who are eligible for Outpatient Early Psychosis Coordinated Specialty Care Services (CSC); Responsible for providing coaching in the areas of education and vocation, including helping young people (and families) navigate school-based accommodations, identify interests, resume development, job development, and coaching services to Job Seekers. This is a hybrid position out of our Bedford office, willingness to travel and engage in community-based work is essential.    Who You Are: BA/BS required, Masters degree preferred. We are looking for an individual with experience engaging one’s community (e.g., volunteering, attending any groups/clubs, mentoring, etc. Looking for someone who is comfortable with people, especially in the community. Experience in providing individualized job development and supported employment on behalf of persons with disabilities or mental health issues is a plus.  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.    What You Will Do: Assists people in identifying their vocational/educational recovery goals. Takes primary responsibility in completing vocational assessments, implementing vocational interventions and documenting services with people on caseload, using recovery-oriented and evidence-based practices, where identified.  Conducts job development and job search activities directed toward positions that are individualized to the interests and uniqueness of the people on his/her caseload. Assists people with all aspects of their educational pursuits, such as accompanying on campus tours, assisting with applying for classes/college, teaching skills needed to manage their course load, and assistance requesting reasonable accommodations, when applicable. Discusses with people participating their preference for disclosure of psychiatric or other disability status to employers and educators, including possible costs and benefits and specific information to be disclosed. Provides education and support to employers and educators as agreed upon by all involved, which may include negotiating reasonable accommodations and follow-along contact with the employer/educator.
