This is a non-union positionEnbridge Gas Ohio is hiring a Gas Operations Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising employees and contractors that support the overall GIS technology and general management of geospatial and attribute data in Gas Distribution's GIS software application. As the Supervisor, you will schedule, assign, and monitor the work of GIS technicians and/or contractors while managing work through distribution of assignments and ensuring prompt and accurate processing of work requests.

What You Will Do:
Ensure proper work methods are applied and safety precautions are followed.
Pre and post job inspection, including resolving design problems and material discrepancies and reviewing contractor expenses to ensure accurate time and equipment charges.
Oversee employee development of assigned staff, including the composition of quarterly employee reviews and employee development plans.
Publish timely production reports detailing performance statistics of the group.
Manage the day-to-day schedules/activities related to employee management.
Provide strategic oversight of the development, implementation, and deployment of GIS software, utilizing the latest ESRI, Oracle, iOS, SAP, IBM and Microsoft technologies, and GIS Editing and AutoCAD Drafting functions.
Continually refine business processes for more efficient GIS workflows.
Oversight, training and supporting the GIS department.
Meet with stakeholders as required and act as GIS representative to determine stakeholder's needs.
Establish metrics that meet or exceed customer and Company goals and objectives while ensuring adherence to department policy and procedure.
Who You Are:
A related Bachelor's degree and 3+ years directly related experience OR an Associate degree and 5+ years directly related experience OR a High school diploma/GED and 7+ years directly related experience.
Directly Related Experience includes:
Previous supervisory experience
GIS database or mapping systems
Construction management
Utility construction/design experience
Field inspections or operations
Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
Contract interpretation, interpersonal, problem-solving skills.
Project and time management skills.
Organization and strong computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Geographical Sciences, Geography, Information Sciences) and 5+ years directly related experience.
5+ years previous experience in natural gas operations, construction work methods, or maintenance and repair.
Experience with ESRI ArcMap, ArcEditor, ArcCatalog, Televent ArcF, SmallWorld.
Experience supervising others.
Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Office Work Environment 51-75%.
Domestic Travel Up to 25%.
