Northern Light Home Care and Hospice Department: Hospice - South Portland Position is located: Cianchette Professional Blding Work Type: Full Time Hours Per Week: 40.00 Summary : The Supervisor of Regional Clinical Services is responsible for supervision of daily clinical care provided to the organization's clients and for oversight, supervision and mentoring of a multidisciplinary team of field clinicians. The Supervisor of Regional Clinical Services is accountable for staff productivity, quality outcomes, client satisfaction and clinical practice standards delivery. The Supervisor of Regional Clinical Services develops and maintains a culture of team accountability using a high degree of field supervision. As a member of the Management team the incumbent is responsible for organizational performance improvement activities and education/orientation activities. The incumbent acts as Manager On- Call on a rotating basis. Performance reflects the mission and values of Home Care and Hospice. Responsibilities: + Performs tasks of a clinical nature within scope of assigned duties and clinical expertise. + Assists with staff education and training as appropriate. + Attends and participates in meetings. + Guides and advises co-workers. + Provides logistic, financial, emotional support and guidance to patients. + Attends education sessions, workshops, and other continuing education opportunities to enhance or gain new skills. + Identifies and advocates for improvement to processes within the department and organization when identified. + Promotes services, disseminates information, and fosters a positive image of the organization in the community. + Performs tasks according to established guidelines to ensure quality goals and standards are met. + Manages various aspects of staff performance and development. + Work with members of the team or department in an effective and efficient manner. Shares knowledge and serves as a resource in a team environment. Other Information: + Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and agency required auto liability insurance. Must be able to drive within assigned region as directed. Statewide travel may be required based on position.
