Responsibilities - Supvr Lab Draw Site:

Works under the direction of the Outreach Laboratory DirectorManages the work processes in the areas of collection, receiving and processing of outreach specimens for testingCommunications with nursing/clients regarding patient specimensReferring specimens to outside laboratories, development of policies and proceduresAssisting in various projects. Interacts with physicians/clients/staffPrioritizes, delegates and coordinates the technical and administrative functions of the various outreach areas

Education

Required - High School or EquivalentPreferred - Associates in Related Field

Credentials:

Required - Phlebotomy or Medical Lab Assistant CertificationRequired - Cerner LIS &Invision - SMS knowledgePreferred - Medical Technologist License

Experience:

Required - Laboratory Related
