Are you ready to take the lead as our SURF Flowline Engineer for a major oil and gas project in Paris, France? Join our team as a Contract Engineer and be a part of the exciting journey towards developing a very deep-water greenfield project. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in subsea engineering, flowlines, umbilical’s, risers, and more.

Role Overview Lead all flowline engineering activities and technical matters related to the project, including reviewing, approving, preparing, and managing studies during Pre-project and FEED, Call for Tender, and EPCI phases. Manage all Pre-project and FEED contractor technical activities and provide support to the SURF Technical Manager and team. Prepare and deliver the flowlines Call for Tender technical package for the SURF EPCI Contract. Review and ensure compliance of SURF Tenderers Technical offers with Project and Company requirements. Define, develop, issue, and maintain all necessary technical documentation related to flowlines. Ensure all engineering aspects are addressed during different phases by reviewing and validating relevant SURF documentation issued by Supplier(s) and Contractor(s). Act as technical referent for flowlines, spools, and jumpers’ matters. Identify and coordinate necessary studies, testing, or surveys to ensure readiness and fitness for purpose of flowlines. Support supervision of testing and qualification activities, installation preparation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities performed by Contractors. Ensure technical compliance throughout the Project life of engineered, procured, fabricated, tested, and installed flowlines / spools / jumpers’ material and equipment. Liaise with other package teams for interface matters. Assist and support the Technical Manager and Subsea Manager on all aspects of flowlines / spools / jumpers related Call for Tender, Clarification & evaluation process, project execution, contracts management, and relations with Partners. Gather ‘lessons learnt’ and provide feedback as required. Skills & Qualifications Master’s degree in engineering with strong experience in rigid flowlines, spools, jumpers, FLETs, ILTs, and associated items and ancillaries. Fluency in English. At least 15 years of experience in detailed engineering and execution phases related to rigid flowlines, spools, and jumpers in deep water. At least 10 years of experience in large offshore oil & gas SURF projects. Good knowledge of relevant codes (DNV) procedures, and policies. Previous experience with Major SURF Contractors during project execution for deep water projects. Positive, constructive, proactive, and pragmatic mindset. Ability to work within large teams with other parties (Contractors, suppliers, HQ technical teams, etc). Previous experience within a complex and multicultural working environment. Education & Experience Qualification: Master’s degree in engineering preferred.
