*Reporting to the Surface General Supervisor, you will be part of the Surface Operations Department. You will be responsible for supporting the operation through supervision of the following functions\: mine backfill paste production, material management, heavy equipment operations, surface haulage, building maintenance including plumbing, water management, along with supporting all other departments. You will also ensure that departmental goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Shift Safety Huddles, Monthly Meetings, Daily Lineups of crews; Promote good housekeeping, ensuring proper PPE and tools are used for all tasks; Health and Safety compliance inspections, INX entries, Job Task Observations, JHSC actions; Paste production, troubleshooting, managing consumables and re-agents and quality control measures; Monitor/coordinate equipment maintenance working closely with Mobile Maintenance Team, including site scales (Truck, Paste Plant); Develop crew lineups, scheduling, vacations, shutdown planning; Site building maintenance including plumbing, prioritizing and planning; Manage contractors working onsite within the scope of our department; Daily Reporting, Site Tracking and monitoring Paste Reports; Employee evaluations and crew development/progression plan; Property Management including brushing and winter snow clearing activities; Promote Safe and Health work environment for team, developing training, contributing to departmental progression plan by investing in team members; Support all Macassa Departments onsite. *Reporting to the Surface General Supervisor, you will be part of the Surface Operations Department.
