Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 to $23.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Sunday through Saturday from 06:00am to 06:00pm)Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, paint, scale, and other contaminants from surfaces of parts and productsPrepare surfaces for painting, coating, or further production by achieving the finish and cleanlinessSet up and operate abrasive blasting machines, ensuring proper adjustment of pressure, nozzle size, and abrasive flow ratesPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of blasting equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent malfunctionsSurface Treatment Qualifications:
Follow all safety protocols when operating blasting equipment, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, face shields, gloves, and protective suitsEnsure proper ventilation and dust collection systems are in place to maintain a safe working environmentMaintain a clean and organized work area by regularly cleaning up abrasive materials, dust, and debrisCommunicate effectively with other production team members to coordinate the flow of parts through the blasting processPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
