All while understanding that together we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift:** Day Shift **Location:** AdventHealth New Smyrna - 401 Palmetto St. New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 **The role you’ll contribute:** Supports operating room staff by maintaining a safe environment and delivering quality patient care. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** • Assists nursing staff with patient care by positioning and transferring anesthetized patients and supporting limbs during surgical skin preps • When assisting patient, staff is aware of the sterile boundaries within the operating room when supplies are opened • Delivers specimens and blood products to labs • Ensures stretchers and oxygen tanks are readily available for patient transport •Maintains surgical machines/equipment and prepares operating suites • May assist in delivery of medications Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** • High School Education or equivalent • One year of technical experience This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
