What You Can Expect
The Surgery Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials needed for surgery. Responsibilities include the safe and timely transportation of inventory to medical facilities and/or locations specified.
How You'll Create ImpactCoordinate with staff to make sure surgery requisitions are submitted timely and accurately to ensure fulfillment and delivery of product.Check orders for completeness and make recommendations based on previous orders.Fulfill surgery requests accurately and within time constraints.Use Enterprise Resource Planning/Manufacturing Resource Planning software programs to loan, receive, ship, issue and monitor inventory.May also require coordination with shipping companies.Collaborate and troubleshoot with cross-functional departments, including Sales Operations, Supply Chain and Operations to fulfill orders accurately and on-time.Assist on-site warehouse personnel in manual fulfillment of orders with ‘all hands on deck’ approach.Maintain status of inventory at all times with ability to provide real-time updates to Operations leadership and Sales team members.Responsible for the return of inventory in a timely manner.Boxing, packing, labeling, shipping instruments, and using shipping programs as needed.Deliver/retrieve inventory including restock and emergency runs to the appropriate facility in a safe and accurate manner.Develops and enhances product knowledge through training, webinars, learning modules, interaction and partnership with sales, marketing, sales training, med ed.

Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs on occasional basis.Your Background
HS Diploma or equivalent is (G.E.D.) required.An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.2 years’ experience required; preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales Support, Inventory Management, Information Systems, or other technical field.Must have valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
