Position Summary
Performs general clerical duties by preparing, compiling and maintaining records in the operating room.
Job Responsibilities
Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedure. Sets up sterile table Passes instruments, etc., to surgeon during procedure. Assists with terminal cleaning and prepping of rooms.Education/Experience
High school graduation or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology training program. For new graduates after July 1, 2009, Certified Surgical Technologist Credentials, administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), must be obtained within 12 months after graduation. All technicians must accumulate 15 hours of AST approved continuing education related to Surgical Technology per calendar year (July 1st thru June 30th). Maintains annual CPR certification along with other mandatory competencies.Comprehensive Benefits Program (Not all inclusive)
