Principal Responsibilities:

Medications are prepared, ordered, organized and maintained in accordance with established standards policies and procedures.Assists anesthesia with placement and securing of central linesAssists with complex anesthesia proceduresDemonstrates ability to determine specific monitoring devices needed for surgical casesDemonstrates knowledge and practice of aseptic technique when setting up invasive monitoring linesMaintains sterile integrity during invasive anesthesia proceduresMonitors aseptic practice of Level I-III Clinical Associate staffAble to trouble shoot OR and Anesthesia equipmentPerforms routine maintenance of anesthesia and OR equipmentParticipates with interviewing new hiresProvides input for Clinical Associate orientation and annual performance reviewsPrepares time schedules for Clinical Associate staffComprehends and applies principles of adult learningFunctions as a preceptor to Level I – III staff


Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED and 6 to 9 college credits.1-2 year’s experiences in a health care environment.


Pay Range: $19.20 - $25.58

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
