You receive a quarterly bonus.You have a permanent full-time position (32-40 hrs/week).You benefit from a free LASIK surgery, 3 weeks of vacation, 3 sick days, 1 floater & 1 wellness day.You benefit from group insurance, telemedicine & RRSP match.You work with experts in Ophthalmology & you can count yourself as a team member of one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.Your tasks at a glance            You answer questions from surgeons and patients regarding intraocular procedures.You maintain tracking sheets and monthly statistical reports.You receive and process approval of cataract surgery by medical directors.You identify and solve problems as they arise.You plan, organize, and schedule patients for surgery days.You are comfortable standing for long periods of time.You are detail-oriented and work with precision and accuracy.
You will be cross-trained in both Clinical Assistant and Receptionist roles (after completing your initial training).A clear view of your assets     You have excellent communication skills in English. You especially thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and when you work as part of a team. You have the ability to relate to others and quickly establish a climate of trust.You have a sense of responsibility and take your role seriously.You are organized, self-disciplined, and have excellent prioritization, time management, and problem-solving skills.You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).You have experience in the healthcare field (an asset).Schedule: You have flexible work availability Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturdays on rotation.Required: You are comfortable traveling between our LASIK MD Edmonton South, LASIK MD Edmonton North West & King LASIK locations for training and work.From our point of view     If you think you are the ideal candidate for this role and are ready to join a passionate and hard-working team, apply now.
