Roche Thailand is hiring Surgical Device Liaison (SDL). The Surgical Device Liaison (SDL) is a field-based, ophthalmic-surgical expert role, integral to successfully delivering the Ophthalmology Vision, working closely with healthcare providers on the implementation of PDS (Port Delivery System) into the healthcare system.
The SDL understands in detail the specific needs of stakeholders in their therapeutic/surgical ecosystems. They are empowered to identify and address clinical goals and challenges to support positive patient experience, optimal surgical outcomes, improved quality of care and establishing Roche as a trusted leader and partner.

Your Opportunity:
Provision of medical device and surgery training in the context of the Roche product portfolio. Training on implantation, revision, explanation and refilling of ophthalmic medical device / PDS from Roche
Continuous support of ophthalmic surgeons, ophthalmologists and ophthalmological TAEs (Therapeutic Area Experts), other HCPs (Health Care Professional, also non-medical operating room staff) in the use / application of ophthalmic medical device / PDS in compliance with the highest ethical and professional standards and in accordance with all Roche guidelines and instructions
Planning and implementation of certifications for TAEs / HCPs
On-site support for surgical interventions on ophthalmic medical device / PDS (e.g. implantation / revision / explanation / refilling of the PDS)
Ensures effective and efficient scheduling of surgical procedures, both implant and refill, within their ecosystems
Partner with external and internal cross-functional partners to educate and enhance understanding of the Ophthalmic Surgical techniques and expertise
Enables knowledge and insights sharing of ecosystem and stakeholder needs with internal cross-functional partners
Who are you:
You are degree qualified in science or related field with significant experience in the device professions including experience in an ophthalmology-related industry at global / affiliate level, with 3+ years or more experience in surgical device procedure training with a field customer-facing role with Class III Medical Device experience strongly preferred.
You are able to travel both Domestic and International base on work requirement
A proficient language skill in Thai and English
Having surgical and operating room experience is mandatory and ophthalmic operating room experience including experience directly supporting ophthalmic surgery with ophthalmic surgeons, preferred.
You have track record of scientific collaborations with external experts and/or collaborative groups and able to drive to maintain highest standards of scientific and clinical knowledge, including:
Knowledge and compliance with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, Medical Technology Association of Australia and relevant standards and guidelines
Proactivity in monitoring the external landscape to understand and communicate trends, competitive activity, risks and opportunities.
