Surgical Instrument Tech Lead

Find your purpose working Part Time as our Surgical Instrument Tech Lead in the St. Cloud Hospital Sterile Processing Department! You will spend your shifts amongst a passionate team, while enjoying incredible views of the Mississippi River while you work!  

 

What is a Surgical Instrument Tech Lead?

Surgical Instrument Tech Leads are responsible for independently ensuring all surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments are properly inspected, inventoried, and distributed in a quality and timely manner throughout the health system. We are responsible for use of technologies such as copier/scanner, internet, handheld devices, electronic medical records, instrument tracking systems, inventory management systems, email and Microsoft office. Based on previous experience, our Leads will independently troubleshoot problems as they arise. Our Lead will work directly with surgery leadership to exchange ideas, improve processes, and ensure the availability and quality of medical devices.

Schedule:

Days | 8-hour shifts (Varies 7:30a & 8:30a start times). Part-time | 32-40 Hours every two weeks

Pay and Benefits (Total Rewards)

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED graduate or equivalent. 3 years Minimum of experience in a Sterile Processing Department (SPD).

Licenses and Certifications:

Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Personnel (CSPDT). Required within 12 months of hire. Educational requirements and certified status must be maintained throughout the duration of his/her employment.  Secondary Certification of Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL), Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS), Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Preferred.
