Surgical Procedural Supply Analyst Lead

Location: St. Joseph’s Main & Children’s – BayCare Health System

Status: Full-Time | Exempt: Yes | Shift: Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Position Overview

The Surgical Services Procurement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the procurement of stock, special supplies, equipment, and services for surgical services departments. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting cost analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities across multiple vendors.Ensuring standardization based on SSVAT directives.Tracking and analyzing expired items.Managing month-end reporting.Overseeing the recall process, including vendor coordination and BISC response.Managing human tissue processes, reporting, analysis, and compliance with regulatory agencies.Assisting in large-scale product conversions as directed by BayCare.Leading or assisting with special projects within a multidisciplinary team.Supporting team member development and conducting daily rounding with procurement team members.Assuming leadership responsibilities in the absence of the department manager.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, or a related field
ORBachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in a related field
