Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Prepares the most time- and resource-efficient daily Operating Room schedules based on physician requests, physician history files, hospital admissions, emergent/add-on cases, cancelations, etc. Maintains the daily operation of the posting department using department specific surgical scheduling software and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. 1-3 years of experience. MUST HAVE SURGICAL SCHEDULING EXPERIENCE Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; IDX; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills; 40 wpm typing; Fundamental CPT and ICD-9 coding; Customer Service.
