Vaughan Regional Medical Center is seeking to fill the position of Surgical Supply Coordinator.

In this role the surgicalsupply coordinator is responsible for coordinatingthe effective and efficient utilization of materials/supplies and equipment for surgical services.

Job Responsibility

Serves as a liaison to the vendors. Works with vendors on repairs of scopes, instruments, equipment, etc.Monitors the utilization of supplies and resources for the Surgical Services Department. Reviews products for obsolete and expiration dates. Keeps work station and storage areas neat and clean.Maintains adequate par levels. Assists with stocking supplies in the Surgical Services Departments. Reviews par levels with Materials Management Leader and OR director and makes recommendations for adjustments.Assists with Optiflex and storeroom distribution.Maintains a strong working knowledge of processes and supply requirements for surgical procedures.
