Adecco is assisting one of the leading healthcare providers in the Bay Area in recruiting for a **Surgical Tech** in Palo Alto, CA. This is a **contract role for 13 weeks** with 4-10 hour day shifts weekly. **FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments, supplies and equipment in a timely manner. + Maintains sterile technique as well as sterile instruments, supplies and equipment. + Prepares the surgical field by opening correct supplies and preparing instruments and equipment needed for the scheduled case. + Assures all materials are available and in working order and verifies own skill in using equipment correctly. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Certified Surgical Tech preferred + Basic Life Support required + At least 1 year of surgical tech experience required. **Pay range for this opportunity is $37.00 - $55.00/hr based on experience** .
