Surgical Tech OR Breckenridge Ambulatory Surgery Center
40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Dayshift (6:30a - 5pm, 10hr Shifts)
Job Summary: The Breckenridge Ambulatory Surgery Center is a brand-new facility located near the hospital on Breckenridge Lane, featuring 6 OR suites and 1 urology procedure room. This state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center is designed to provide high efficiency for surgeons and the best experience for patients. Surgical specialties include urology, gynecology, plastic surgery, oculoplasty, and podiatry. Perioperative experience is required.
The Surgical Scrub Tech works directly under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) in the operating room, demonstrating strong clinical knowledge and skills related to operating room procedures. The role requires flexibility in work schedules, the ability to assist with ancillary duties such as cleaning rooms between cases, stocking rooms, and helping in the central sterile area. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-directed, have strong communication skills, and a proven ability to expedite room turnover. Organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential.
Requirements:
Completion of a vocational or military technologist training course or at least one year of experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
