Job Summary
The Surgical Technologists (Certified) are responsible for conducting proper sterile technique and case set up while ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments. Surgical Technologists perform specified functions to meet requirements of each approved procedure. They assemble supplies and equipment for the scheduled procedures according to physician preference cards, inspecting always for proper working condition, and always adheres to aseptic technique when opening sterile packages and preparing for procedures.

What you will do

Perform aseptic technique in the operating room Proper utilization and cleaning of instruments and equipment used in operating room for surgical procedures Assist with surgical procedures and anticipate the needs of the surgeon Work with the circulating nurse and other members of the O.R. team to prepare the O.R. suite and gather the necessary equipment and instruments for scheduled procedures


Education Qualifications

Associate's Degree Graduate of an approved Surgical Technology program Required

Experience Qualifications

1-3 years Surgery Tech Experience Preferred
