Aspirus is excited to invite *second year* Surgical Technologist Students to apply!
The Surgical Technologist Intern works under the direct supervision of a precepting Surgical Technologist. The Surgical Technologist Intern will collaborate with the precepting Surgical Technologist to provide a safe, efficient environment for the surgical patient and staff by working in accordance with the Aspirus standards of practice and by adhering to Aspirus policies, procedures, universal precautions, and sterile technique.
Eligibility
Current enrollment, at minimum, in the third semester of a Surgical Technologist program.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used surgical equipment and instrumentation.Demonstrates good problem-solving skills.Hours: Flexible, occasional status; will work with student hours.
