Surgical Technology Knowledge Program ApplicationThe BH Louisville/LaGrange Knowledge Program has helped numerous individuals reach their career goal of becoming a surgical technician. The Knowledge Program is open to both current employees and external candidates. The program provides tuition funds in the form of loan forgiveness to students in an accredited program in an exchange to work for Baptist Health Louisville/LaGrange upon graduation.
PROGRAM COMMITMENTS
Knowledge Program participants generally receive installments of loan forgiveness monies as the student progress through their nursing program and maintains an acceptable GPA. Funds from the Knowledge Program are generally for tuition but may be used for expenses at the recipient’s personal discretion.
Participants in the program must agree to work for Baptist upon graduation from their Surgical Tech program. For every $2,500 in Knowledge Dollars, the graduate will be required to work 6 months full-time to forgive the loan.

Baptist Health online applicationAcceptance letter into the programOfficial transcript showing GPA2 letters of reference (one from a classroom instructor and one from an employer)Letter stating the reason for interest in the career field, short and long-term goals and why the financial assistance is needed.Final candidates interview with a panel of Baptist Health Surgical Staff.Documents should be forwarded via email to:
